TAP INTO THE DIVINE with Arvo Part's Kanon Kokajanen (10 mins of yr precious time)

Unforgettable experience, a philosophical and musical milestone. This Kanon is a yearly event, embedded in the Musica Sacra festival (august) - with  the magnificent old little 'silent' cloistre of Rosario (www.rosario.be) in Belgium as the center of the world. Perhaps they will still have the whole DVD on sale...

 

That year composer Arvo Part was there to watch the extended group Aquarius (ex Goeyvaerts Consort ... and he was thrilled  (he is the man with the beard...)

Absolutely adorable doggie meets absolutely adorable dolphin... have fun !!!

 

The music is all of Demis Roussos (remember, Aphrodites Child?). If you like very special music, you will also want to check ANYTHING on Vangelis (Papathanassiou), member of the same band. Demis went on as a crooner (à la Tom Jones or Julio Iglesias) while Vangelis is sublime in heavenly etheric melodies. Like Jean Michel Jarre and Keith Jarrett in his best improvisations (inspired by philosopher Gurdjiev). Won't put all the links in here... you're grown up so you'll find them!
